The tone detector is one of our favorite features as well! We're currently working on a new Grammarly product offering, which will integrate with a wide range of supported desktop applications and websites. Hi Jessica, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. At $25+ per person, per month, it seems pricey for the somewhat minimal benefit it provides -It is not full proof: I have definitely caught it making an obvious mistake in somewhat complex context situations -Does not integrate on every platform, so there are times where I would like to rely on Grammarly to double-check my work, but it does not function on that particular site Always on and always checking: often catches the small things that my online platforms don't catch (such as grammar, punctuation, etc.) -It's suggested swaps sometimes indicate something about grammar that I didn't know, so a nice learning function as well thru use -New "Tone Detector" is a good reminder to stay "professional" when needed and "lighten up" a bit when it's not required CONS I think this is the perfect tool for external marketing/messaging, legal/financial communications, or other high-stakes communications businesses that need to ensure that they dot every "i" and cross every "t". Otherwise, I'm not sure that I would personally spend the $25+/month to have an advanced "spell checker" for me emails. If I was a copy-writer or content specialist, I could also see this as being an integral tool for quality assurance on other online platforms (social media, web building, etc.). The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.Since my workplace already subscribed to Grammerly Business and it was an automatic add-on to my email suite, it's been an amazing addition to double-check and support my professional communications. _For Colorado-based employment: _The salary range for this position is $217,000 - $340,000 year however, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer support to set up a home office, ample and defined time off, gym and recreation stipends, 401(k) matching, and more. ![]() Comprehensive benefits: Grammarly offers all team members competitive pay along with a benefits package encompassing superior health care (including mental health benefits). ![]() We also take time to celebrate our colleagues and accomplishments with global, local, and team-specific events and programs. We have a highly collaborative culture supported by our EAGER values. A connected team: Grammarly builds a product that helps people connect, and we apply this mindset to our own team.We also support professional development with training, coaching, and regular feedback. Professional growth: We hire people we trust and give team members autonomy to do their best work.Has experience working on fast-paced teams.Proactively identifies issues, risks, and opportunities. Is a creative problem-solver who is able to break down complex problems into manageable components.Keeps in mind business and product goals as a foundational component of architectural and technical solutions and investments.Has experience partnering closely with product management and is customer-oriented.Is able to facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical audiences. ![]()
